Let’s Talk Weddings

Why the Vibe Matters Just as Much as the Photos

Before we talk timelines, packages, or pretty Pinterest boards, there’s one very important first step when it comes to choosing your wedding photographer: look at my work. Really look at it. Scroll through full galleries. Notice the tones, the light, the emotion, the editing style. Make sure it’s something you genuinely love.

If it’s not? That’s okay. Truly.

Photography is art, and art is subjective. Everyone has different tastes, different preferences, different visions for their wedding day—and that’s a beautiful thing. My goal isn’t to be everyone’s photographer. It’s to be the right photographer for the right couples.

Once you love the work, the next step is the initial consult. Yes, we’ll talk logistics—dates, timelines, locations, all the practical things. But just as important? The vibe check. You have to feel comfortable with me. You have to trust me. I’m going to be with you during some of the most emotional, intimate, once-in-a-lifetime moments of your day, and that only works if you feel at ease.

From there, I’ve got you covered. I’ll help you create a list of “must-have” photos, offer guidance on your timeline if you want another set of experienced eyes, and work closely with your coordinator on the wedding day to make sure everything on my end runs smoothly and seamlessly. My goal is to take the pressure off—not add to it.

Above all else, I want your wedding photography experience to feel effortless. You should never be worrying about whether I’m doing my job or if moments are being missed. This is where trust comes into play again. When you trust me, you get to stay present, soak it all in, and actually enjoy your day.

And when it’s all said and done? I don’t just want you to see your wedding photos—I want you to feel them. I want you to remember the nerves, the joy, the laughter, the quiet in-between moments, and the overwhelming love you felt that day. Because years from now, those feelings are what matter most.
